Overall, I am thrilled. $698.70 donated so far. My goal was 1k for the month of August. It seems possible I can achieve that.
There was a package in week 1 that was never scanned by the carrier USPS. The customer says it never showed up. This auction was refunded, and I was sad and frustrated.
The first week saw other expectable problems. Multiple posts were removed in the first week for having improper information in the listings.
In this last second week of auctions, I encountered problems correctly combining orders for customers. I do believe this issue has been solved, but perhaps not. If you encounter an issue, be chill, contact me, and I will do everything to solve the issue.
In the second week of listings, I had the experiment in expanding the number of charity auctions per week to 10 with the idea that I could add 3 Zanfirico bead or pendent auctions that would closing at more optimal evening times.
Expanding to 10 auctions in a week caused me considerable stress, and I did not enjoy it. Also, the 2 Zanfirico beads and 1 pendant I listed have been duds with buyers so far; the Zanfirico bead auction closing this evening is at $5.00.
As a result, I am reverting back to the original idea, which was sets of 3 Zanfirico marbles, 7 days a week.
Ebay withholds funds for charitable donations for 3 weeks, which means I should be receiving my first donation receipts at the end of this week (August 21st?).
I’m unsure what transparency and reporting procedures I can set up on this website, but those efforts are trying to be figured out.
Please contact me with any questions or suggestions for improvement.
For an all loving God.
