Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026. Studio Uncle Fish, Irmo, South Carolina. These posts are published in the late morning of the next day.

I dream of both change and failure. Lol. Fuck. I have Starbucks and cigarettes. I take a rather excellent van bath in the heat of my van. The warmth will be short-lived. I will be bathing in the chill of autumn soon. I do love a redneck van spa.

Studio Assessment

In a progressive future, there will be a link to a tour of the glass shop.

I don’t make it into the studio until after 11 am. I work to clean the place up. My life is a mess every day, but I have learned to clean and improve my shop space. Because I like things to make sense (looking for cigarettes).

It should be an excellent day. The place is ready to go. I need nothing! This is the feeling of following creativity. It is good.
Buddy, I make everything difficult. I used super glue to make the leather to wood bond used in my new marble displays. When the leather was secure, I started putting marbles in there. Well, as it turns out, super glues off gas when drying. And that off gas can collect on surfaces close by. Which is not great for me. I have a minor anxiety attack. But after a half hour of cleaning, everything is all set. Lesson learned.
Two finished marble stacks. They look pretty awkward and unsophisticated, and that’s just fine with me. Observation of low quality it commonly the sent of design potential.

eBay Charity Auctions

After cleaning the studio, the first order of business is national service. Read about my 100% donation eBay charity auctions program, benefiting food programs around the United States, by clicking here. Link to live auctions by clicking here.

I need to accept that my ability to affect these auctions is basically zero. I do not have the time to fight to produce some promotional items that will not be seen. I need to accept that this blog (which gets zero views, like actually) is my best bet. I have ideas for stuff like YouTube, but, I mean, that isn’t real. It would need to be started, which I’m okay with, but yeah, I am overwhelmed already. Any ideas I have are medium term, if the even get started to begin with.

Buddy, things are trying to warm.
I list three groups to eBay. Listing a week of auctions is not possible at this moment because of shortcomings in my inventory for eBay.

I am able to pack two. EBay is now clear of unpaid auctions. This is not a great sign given that the vast majority of auctions are won by repeat buyers. My small audience is worn out.

Etsy

Shop the Zanfirico Harold Etsy store by clicking here. You buy, I backpack.

I get these two marble stacks listed.

I make this terrible video as promo. Embarrassing.

I am able to move on at 315pm.

Lampworking

In a progressive future, there will be a link to photograph history or plans or some shit.

Changes in how I see things with mable stack makes me re handle marble segments from yesterday, making one more off each prep.

I vac 3 Cooney cane for marbles and have a difficult time. Patterns are lame to ugly and vacs are suffering because parts do not fit. Also, questions about more or less heat to find good results when parts are not great show positives in both directions, confusion results.

I make marbles. I am unable to completely clear the try I am on. Prep remains for tomorrow.

Conclusion

Buddy, I am a mess. But my art is looking better. One thing at a time, I guess. Seems like flawed logic.

Sell beads. Go backpacking.

Production and sale of Zanfirico beads to support long-term, long-distance backpacking.
