Thursday, September 17th, 2026 Studio Uncle Fish, Irmo, South Carolina.

I went to bed a wook, and I woke up as one, too.

Straight for Starbucks and cigarettes. I haven’t cleaned myself or my van in some unknown amount of time that isn’t stopping this morning.

Studio Assessment

In a progressive future, there will be a link to a tour of the glass shop.

It’s good to have coworkers because they’ll keep you in check with the reality. If I show up to the glass shop and there’s already some guy working, then I am a seriously artistically delinquent individual. “First on, last off” is the hope of any impassioned lampworker.

It’s gonna be a great day, buddy. Things are coming together, for win or lose. It’s game on.

eBay Charity Auctions

After cleaning the studio, the first order of business is national service. Read about my 100% donation eBay charity auctions program, benefiting food programs around the United States, by clicking here. Link to live auctions by clicking here.

Things are not looking great price wise on eBay this morning. I have been unsuccessful the last couple of days in producing media that changes prices. I sit with my cup of coffee and try to come up with some ideas. I need something effective, like a thing that can actually change prices. I need something achievable and repeatable, like this needs to be work that I can identify and complete repeatedly in short order. Good luck with that.

This is what I end up coming up with. It’s less overtly negative than the last couple of posts. I don’t think it will do much. I don’t know. Best thing I could think of today. (I am trying to use a link because I have deleted from my socials.)

The last 4 auctions have been won by the same person. While I’m very happy to have their continual support, it’s a very good indicator of the reason why the prices are so low: I only have one bidder. Or two. Or three. There is no audience. These are long-term problems.

There is nothing to pack and ship because the one buyer is still shopping. May they be blessed.

I move on at noon.

Etsy

Shop the Zanfirico Harold Etsy store by clicking here. You buy, I backpack.

I am able to list two. Pack and ship two. This is very good. A biconeish and my first ever sale for a smoking pipe on Etsy. Blessed.

The store is starting to clean up. Two more weeks, probably, for there to be a mission centric presentation here for Zanfirico Hanks.

I move on a little after 1 pm.

Lampworking

In a progressive future, there will be a link to photograph history or plans or some shit.

Trouble with the concepts of my life and don’t get on the bench until later in the afternoon. This has become the pattern and needs to change. Good luck with that.

I get 5 cores for marbles made. I get 3 cores for ball beads and biconeish beads made, sleaved, and segmented.

Nothing finished, which is not how survival works.

Conclusion

Another day where I’m in my own way. Changing these things takes detailed self-awareness, which requires knowledge of identity and direction. Slowing getting there. Right now? Looking unhealthy.

Sell beads. Go backpacking.

Production and sale of Zanfirico beads to support long-term, long-distance backpacking.
